As an important character this Mephiston Conversion was painted to our Character+ level to make it stand out on the battlefield.
Concept and Construction
Parts at the Start
This picture shows the Carnifex boxset that the model will be made from. The model will also be mounted on a large flying base and will include some Termagants and a large egg sack made from greenstuff.
Enlarging the Model
This picture shows the model after the first stage of construction.
The model was built mostly as per the Carnifex instructions up to this point but the important difference was that the main body was lengthened to allow space for the Tervigon eggsack.
Creating the Eggsack
This picture shows the model after the second stage of construction.
For this stage work was done to lay the foundations of what would become the Tervigon's eggsack. Some spwaning Termagants were also added as if bursting forth from their primogenitor.
Detailing the Eggsack
This picture shows the model after the third stage of construction.
For this stage work was done building up and detailing the eggsack.
